Alberta was built by hardworking families – not by politicians. Families are the best people to make decisions in their community, whether it’s for education or for healthcare. Families know best, and Travis will represent the families of Athabasca-Sturgeon-Redwater to ensure that they are empowered to make the right decisions.
With the potential for agricultural policies to constantly change, it’s important to have an MLA that can represent the views of Athabasca-Sturgeon-Redwater. Travis knows how hard it is to run a family farm, his family has done it for four generations. Travis would fight to restore landowner rights for all Albertans and return decision making to local municipalities. Doing what’s right for farmers – it’s in his blood.
As Alberta grows, it’s important not to forget about children and seniors. This means that communities need to know they will have the schools and long-term facilities they need. Travis will fight for his constituents and local municipalities because it’s the right thing to do. When children grow up, they need to have the same opportunities as everyone else, and as people enter their final phase of life, it is important that they can enjoy being near family and friends in their own community. Travis wants to do what is right for all residents of Athabasca-Sturgeon-Redwater.
